6 months ago- A: No, Producer's Pride 16% Layer Crumbles Poultry Feed does not contain the insoluble grit chickens need for digestion of other foods like bugs or scraps. The feed itself is a complete formula that doesn't require grit for its own digestion, but separate, free-choice grit is necessary if feeding anything else6 months agoHelpful?

Q: On the layer chicken feed which is beyter the pellets or the crumbles
10 months ago- A: Both layer crumbles and layer pellets provide the same nutritional value for laying hens, but the best choice depends on individual preferences and management practices. Pellets tend to be less wasteful due to their larger size, while crumbles may be preferred by some chickens and can be easier for chicks to eat. Ultimately, the best option is to experiment and see what your flock prefers.10 months agoHelpful?

Q: Can roosters eat this?
a year ago- A: For males you can feed an all flock product such as the Dumor All Flock. This is for all forms of poultry but if you have a mixed flock of males and females you would have to add a dish of oyster shell for the females to get enough calcium for strong egg shells.a year agoHelpful?
