The PolyPlus 1,320 ft. Coated Non-Electric Wire Fence is a permanent and economical non-electric high-tensile single strand horse fence. This horse fence wire utilizes a 12.5 gauge galvanized high-tensile wire embedded in a tough polymer coating to provide a safer and more visible wire fence. This high-tensile fence withstands impact without the risk of serious injury. Safer than barbed wire and non-coated high-tensile wire, the safety-coated wire helps to prevent slicing and cutting injuries. PolyPlus high-tensile wire is engineered for durability.
- Horse fence has a polymer coating that promotes visibility and animal safety
- High-tensile fence may be used in combination with CenFlex Flexible Fence Rail for a custom look
- Withstands extreme temperature conditions (-40 degrees F / 40 degrees C to 200 degrees F / 93.3 degrees C) without becoming brittle or experiencing breakdown
- May be installed either on a wooden line post using Sure-Fit 1-3/4 inch Galvanized Barbed Staples, or on a T-Post using Sure-Fit Coated T-Sleeve Clips or Sure-Fit T-Post Safety Sleeves that fit over standard metal T-Posts
- Safety-coated high-tensile steel wire prevents slicing and cutting injuries

Q: How far apart should posts be set for installation?
2 years ago- A: The manufacturer does not recommend going more than 12’ centers: 8, 10 or 12. Depending on the number of strands, height of fence and personal preference will depend on your spacing between strands. For instance, if yourr fence is 5’ tall and you are doing 6 strands, from ground up you will put the bottom strand at 14” and the next to bottom would be 22” from ground up. That puts 8” between strands with top strand at 54” from ground up. 5 strands are an average of around 9 or 10” between strands2 years agoHelpful?
