Built with high tensile wire in a mesh design, the Bekaert Horseman 200 ft. x 48 in. 12.5-Gauge HT Livestock Fence is designed to be stronger than a speeding horse and to provide safe, humane containment. The 2 in. x 4 in. mesh openings on this steel livestock fence are specifically designed to deter animals from putting hooves or heads through the fence and potentially harming themselves. The smooth S knot construction is also designed for animal safety, protecting skin, manes and tails from cuts and snags. Treated with our industry-leading Bezinal coatings, the high-tensile 12.5/13.5-gauge livestock fence carries up to a 40 year limited guarantee.

Q: Is this class 3?
3 months ago- A: This product is a zinc/aluminum hybrid base with a black polymer paint coating. The Bezinal plus paint coasting by Bekaert more than doubles the life expectancy of standard Class 3 coatings.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: I really want to order this, but I'm very concerned after reading the horrible reviews. Has this fencing been improved since those reviews about 9 months ago? If so, please explain the improvements. Thank you!
a year ago- A: Bekaert is working on the paint process every day. Fence machines use metal parts in the weaving process. There will always be nicks in the paint at the metal to meatal contact points for knot placement. The paint loss is minimal and mainly at these knot contact points. This product is for an agricultural application and when you step back 5 feet or so you can't see the paint loss. However, under the black paint there is a premier zinc aluminum coating to protect against rust. This zinc aluminum coating will become dark gray as the product ages and blend in with the black paint coating over the course of a couple months. Bekaert has photos of this product installed. Q: Can you stretch this fence like a field fence?
2 years ago- A: Per google: a s-knot is a small wire that hugs the vertical and horizontal wires where they intersect, cinching them firmly together. The barriers are firm, seldom buckle or sag and are smooth with no sharp edges, so animals can't get scratched or hurt.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the post spacing on this fencing for goats when using wood posts?
2 years ago- A: Space line posts about 10 to 12 feet apart for most fences (25 feet for high-tensile wire fences). Narrow spacings are better over irregular ground and in contour fences. Rail fences normally have post spacings of 8 to 10 feet.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is it available in black?
3 years ago- A: No, it is not but it can be painted black.3 years agoHelpful?
