PolyPlus utilizes a 12.5 gauge galvanized high tensile wire, embedded in a tough polymer coating to provide a safer and more visible high tensile fence. PolyPlus withstands impact without the risk of serious injury. Safer than barbed wire and non-coated high tensile wire, the safety-coated wire helps to prevent slicing and cutting injuries. PolyPlus high tensile wire is engineered to create a durable high tensile field fence.
- Wire fencing is a permanent and economical non-electric high tensile single strand horse fence
- May be used in combination with CenFlex Flexible Fence Rail for a custom look
- Withstands extreme temperature conditions (-40 degrees F / 40 degrees C to 200 degrees F / 93.3 degrees C) without becoming brittle or experiencing breakdown

Q: What size crimps are recommended for the stripped wire? Tractor Supply sizes do not match with the wire gauge 12.5.

- A: I am unfamiliar with the crimps that TSC has available. The bare wire is 12.5 gauge and the crimps typically will state on the package what size wire they will fit. Remember to strip back the polymer and crimp to the bare wire. Hope this helps.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: What are we supposed to use on the high tension wire to secure at the corner post and to tighten the wire?

- A: You will need to purchase a Ratchet Style Tensioner or a Fencer's Lasso ( Item # 386160) for tensioning the PolyPlus. Typically customers do not wish to stop and start at the corner and we recommend using a Lag Bolt Insulator ( Item # 385159) to run on the inside of the post. If you are installing the product on the outside it should slide around the post as long as the corner post is round.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: I’m having trouble stripping the vinyl coating off to get bare wire to bring around post to crimp together and to have a strip of uncoated wire to put on ratchet. Any suggestions?

This wire is great! For the reviewers who complained about the coil not being on a roll or getting kinked I would highly recommend that they use a “spinning Jenny” next time. For any diyers that don’t have one, they’re less then $100 and will save you lots of headaches.
