It’s OK but not worth the price.

The vibration setting gets my dogs attention, but it seems like no matter how snug I make the collar the shock setting doesn’t bother him in the slightest. It does work. I’ve tested it on myself, but the band itself doesn’t hold very well so it’s constantly coming loose. The breakaway feature I feel like isn’t needed. All it does is cause the collar to constantly come off. All in all I have found a lot of cheaper alternatives that work just as well.

Doesn't work most of the time. It has to be really tight around the neck, for connection/contact, to actually work.

We appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. Just as with any remote trainer, it is normal for the collar to need to be snug enough that you can fit one finger underneath; this ensures both prongs solidly touch bare skin.

If your collar is this snug and your dog is not consistently responding, we would recommend first ensuring any thick or long fur is trimmed to further help contact. If your dog still often disregards the collar, please contact us so we can troubleshoot what could be causing this, as there are many reasons a dog may not respond even if everything is operating as it should. Breakaway collar

I like this collar except for two things - it only has one vibration setting and the collar is breakaway. The collar comes apart from the electronic unit far too easily. When our dogs are playing, the collar ends up on the ground because it just kind of snaps over a connecting piece of the electronic unit. I also wish it had a lanyard instead of a wrist strap for the transmitter.

Detaches too easily

Great product, easy to use and training was going well. However, the collar detaches too easily. It has fallen off randomly and pops off when my dog scratches her neck. The final detachment happened today and my dog promptly chewed up the collar. It's now completely ruined.
