Best thing ever

Our new puppy had a problem of eating everything, coats, shoes, furniture, carpet and anything inbetween. We try to redirect him with toys and praise him when he did the right thing. However, when we wasnt watching him continuely, he would go back to his old habits. The collar sounds a sound, vibration and electric shock. I use the vibration and sound only. I will not shock him, it hurts. After a couple of vibrating sessions,it stopped him immediately. All I have to do is show him the collar and he behaves without even putting it on him. He has made a complete reversal. Its a conditioned behavior and he has learned only after a very few times of vibration. Love it.

Dissapointing range and battery life, but decent.

As far as the tone and vibration the product works well. But the shocking feature seems to run the battery down very quick. I can usually get about 4 corrective shocks out of the receiver before the range decreases dramatically and then 1-2 closer shocks before they loose all effectiveness but the tone and vibration will still work. Works well when it works, but I am very disappointed with battery life and range loss.

I like the collar but don't like the fact that the remote will not stay on. You have to hold the on button down every time which takes time away from the action needed.

The training collar is easy to use and set up. I really like having the beep and vibrate options. My dog really responds well to the beep, so I rarely have to use a low shock. Well worth the money.

Love this collar. Have used mostly the tone and Vibration a few times. Have never used the Electrical stimulation which is designed to touch the skin even through thick double coats. In fact, installed it and removed it the same day. My 6 month old Aussie had a problem with barking at everyone that walked on my street. Within two days that bad habit was stopped. Both inside and outside when he is alone. This collar is a gift from heaven and has eliminated much stress for me and my furry companion. Even my 11 year Aussie responds to the tone when he is near the younger. He finally listens, hears and understands the quiet command. The only issue has been that the collar was a little big and when shortened the ends hung long enough the my pup chewed one. Wonders never cease, the collar still works.
