Bought this collar on 5-22-26, lost on 5-23-26. Read the complete manual, followed instructions. People claimed about it not staying on dog. Pet safe acknowledged the problem. I just figured they had fixed the problem. NO they haven’t!!!! Money down the drain. Let the dog out on Saturday 5-23-26 seen her respond to shock. But she kept going, 30 minutes later when she returned collar gone. This collar is a waste of money until pet safe fixes it. I would have given this a zero, if it was a selection rating Kerry S.

The trainer probably works but I cannot keep it on my dog. If he shivers or shakes his body strongly, its enough for the collar connection to the spindle next to the training receiver to come apart. I clip it back on the spindle and we are good until the next shake.

I bought this new trainer in hopes of liking it as much as the old style but unfortunately that is not the case. Pros- The battery life is good. It is easy to charge. The remote is easy to use. I like that it has tone, vibration and static correction. Cons- I do not like that it has the break away snaps on not one but both sides of the box on the collar. I have 2 young, very energetic dogs that love to run, play, and wrestle. Within the first week of purchase, the dogs have knocked each others collars off multiple times (which does not help when trying to correct a behavior or keep them from wondering too far away). The one collar is no longer useable due to it getting knocked off and chewed on before I noticed what they had. This is disappointing as I feel like my money went down the drain within the first week of having them. Although I do understand to a point as to why they have break away snaps, I don’t feel like they are a good fit for these especially when people have multiple dogs. I absolutely loved the older style.

Terrible product, collar band is made out of slippery material, loosens up on it's own. Came off our dog never to be seen again.
