Q: We have sliding screen doors in front of sliding glass doors. Would this panel fit onto sliding screen door tracks so we can use it in summer months when glass doors are open but screen doors are closed to keep bugs out?

- A: Thank you for this question! These panels are designed to be installed in the sliding glass door track. This would result in a gap between the panel and the sliding glass door if that track were being used. Though some customers have chosen to install their panel in the sliding screen track instead if possible, this is not recommended as there would then be a gap between the panel and the sliding glass door when the glass portion was used.9 months agoHelpful?

Good door

Overall I consider this a good product. I agree with other reviewers that you will want to buy extra weatherstripping to use for the gap between your slider and the panel, though it’s not that big a deal. The flap works and usually catches properly. My main issue is I haven’t been able to get my cat to use the door on her own. She only goes out when I hold the flap open for her. She is 15 years old, so it is probably just harder to train such an old cat.
Yes, I recommend this product.

My dogs love the freedom of going outside whenever they want. The door fits perfectly in the slider and seems to keep the cold air outside.
