This is grass seed, you prepare the ground and spread the seeds, water and watch grow! All with proper care and season for planting, this grass seed should be very successful. My planting was not very successful because in my area and the timing of when I got the seeds to plant, we had just started a big heat wave with no rain and full sun all day. Needless to say, the event of growth was not on my side. I will, however, plant the rest of the seed that I have when the proper timing is for me to grow grass successfully.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Extremely hardy grass seed; filled in patches beautifully

My lawn was suffering from several bald spots from last year. My pup loves to play and dig, and had left holes and patches in several areas of my front yard. While the area where my septic leach field returned to it's natural fullness, several areas did not. I used this Pensacola Bahia grass 3 separate times. Due to the time of the year here in Florida, we get rain nearly every day. Sometimes it's just a few minutes, and then back to blazing and sunny. However, the last month and a half, it's been every day, several times, and the rain has been like a sheet coming down. The first time I put seed down, the rain washed it all away. I had checked the forecast for the week ahead, and thought I had enough time for it to take. The 2nd time, about half of it washed away, but the other half started to show growth!! I decided to put seed down a 3rd time on some of the patches that were really doing well, and I was able to get it to stay, even with the rain. So far I have about half of the patches filled in, in the front yard, with this Pensacola Bahia grass. I am super excited that it is being so hardy in such brutal weather during this time of the year (95-99 degrees, with heat indexes 110-116). I plan to spread the rest of it over the course of the next month or two, in between rain and hurricanes. I also plan to get more of it in the early spring and use it to fill in more of the yard, but before all of the heat and rain start back up. I am super pleased at how well this has done, in such extreme conditions. Lush, green, and looking as natural and hardy as that which growths in the leach field (which that area always looks lush and amazing).

Yes, I recommend this product.
