This granular pest control product kills listed insects and provides up to 3 months of control against listed insects*. In addition to ants, this insect killer kills beetles, crickets, earwigs, scorpions, and spiders, including brown recluse spiders*. This pest control is easy to apply to your home perimeter and foundation and starts creating a bug barrier in minutes to help protect your home against creepy crawlers. Apply these ready-to-spread granules at the first signs of insect damage or activity, or apply early to prevent infestations. To apply, flip open the spout, hold the bottle parallel to ground, and shake in a side to side motion to dispense product. Apply a 2-foot wide band next to the home foundation. For best results, treated area should be thoroughly watered immediately after application. Easy to apply, long-lasting pest protection

Highly recommend these Ortho ant barrier granules! The flip top lid is a game changer, makes it so easy to evenly distribute the granules around your house and doesn’t allow them to all spill out at once. The 2.5lbs bottle was enough to spread around the whole perimeter of my small house with little leftover. For a bigger house I would recommend a bigger bottle. I have noticed a difference in seeing less insects in the house since 1st use. I also feel safer using these granules as pest control rather than a spray I can potentially breath in. Definitely would trying for yourself if you have an ant or insect problem!

Works for few days

Good product. It worked for few days after we used on our patio we havent seen any ants. We have to keep applying it every few days. I think it is a good product between pest control sessions. It doesnt have any scent and doesnt take much space to store it. Definitely recommend it

Works quickly & effectively!

Excellent product! I noticed carpenter ants around my foundation and treated them with this product. A few hours later their activity had significantly decreased. Within 24 hours they were all gone. When I was mowing, I discovered more ants under the drain spout. I applied the granules all over and made sure they went in the ant holes. I haven't seen an ant since! It didn't leave any residue, was dust free, and there was noticeable odor. I highly recommend this product.

Decent amount of product for price

I haven’t had the chance to use this yet since it’s been raining a lot but you get a decent amount of product for the price. I hope it helps with my ant problems, I will update once I use.
