Perfect for lawn replacement, clearing walkways, and leveling weeds along fence lines, buildings, and roadsides, this weed killer for grass kills the weeds while leaving fertile soil available for the plants you want-any product not absorbed by the plant will deactivate after it touches the ground. A combination of two herbicides, this weed preventer for lawns starts to kill weeds on contact, producing visible wilting within 12 hours. Kudzu, wild blackberry, poison ivy, poison oak, crabgrass, and dandelions (and over 100 other plants) are no match for this product, which is rainfast in thirty minutes and effective for up to 6 months. There are no entry restrictions to sprayed areas for pets or people after the spray has dried.

Wicked Stuff - NOT Fast!

I've now used the RM-18 in two different applications, and I have found it to be *extremely* effective, it kills everything you spray it on, without any ifs, ands, or buts. HOWEVER! It is *not* as fast as they say it is. In the first three days, I saw absolutely nothing happen, or only maybe the very slightest bit of graying on the edges. By the end of the first week, the sprayed area was looking very distressed and much of it was visibly dying or dead. By the end of the second week, absolutely everything in the sprayed zone was stone dead.
For reference, I used a mix of 4.5oz per gallon of water, along with 3ml/gal of an indicator dye to make sure I got good coverage of all areas, and sprayed at about 1pm on a warm, sunny day for maximum impact.
So this stuff does work, and it works very well! Just be patient, and the weeds will die off just fine.

Took days for minimal results. Grass and small weeds are barely browning. Large weeds are unaffected. Will still have to make or buy something that works. Waste of time and money.

Not effective.

Used the product after much research. Mixed 2 gallons as per the instructions and sprayed away. It killed about 25% of the weeds and grass I used it on. Would not recommend. Buy the RM 43 and save yourself some time and money.

Does great if you mix less water

This product was recommended by a friend. I found it more effective not following the directions on the label. When you follow their mix, it does not work as fast killing weeds. One day after application, you're ready to pull the weeds.
