This vaccine is approved for preventing lymphoid tumors and associated diseases caused by FeLV (feline leukemia virus) infection. This vaccine is effective in preventing persistent viremia in cats who have been exposed to the feline leukemia virus.

Special Precautions

• If human exposure occurs, seek medical attention.
• Never mix with another vaccine or product.
• Only use a new, non-chemically sterilized needle and syringe.
• Only for use in cats.
• Amphotericin B and gentamicin are contained as preservatives.

Side Effects

• In ongoing studies covering millions of doses, this vaccine was found to be 99.99% reaction-free.
• Some reports suggest that in cats, the administration of certain veterinary biologicals may induce the development of injection-site fibrosarcomas in cats. It can also cause anaphylaxis or other immune-mediated hypersensitivities. An antidote of antihistamines, corticosteroids, and/or epinephrine may be required, based on the severity and nature of the cat's reaction.

Tips

The Nobivac Feline 2-FeLV should be warmed to room temperature and shaken well prior to use.
