Saves the cost of a pet visit for healthy pets

I bought this vaccine for my cat in preparation to bring a new kitten into our home and was pleased to see that they had the feline leukemia vaccine included and way cheaper than going to a vet. If you are new to giving vaccinations I strongly suggest you watch youtube videos on how and the best location on your cat to give the vaccination.

dull needle

I had to get a different syringe. The needle on the included syringe was ridiculously dull. I would never subject my cat to that kind of needless pain.

105 degree fever in 9 week old kitten - not safe.

We gave this vaccine to a 9 week old kitten and it had a severe reaction. Lethargy and a 105 degree temperature required us to take it to a vet, where they told us no kitten should be given FeLV vaccine until at least 12 weeks of age.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Vaccines for cats and dog

Very affordable and easy to administer. I have 4 rescue cats and one rescue dog. Giving them a highly recommended vaccine helps save me hundreds of dollars each year. They are indoor/outdoor pets and I feel confident that they are protected from horrible diseases that could shorten their lives. My vet says the vaccines are safe, effective and affordable. He would rather see pets vaccinated rather then they not be due to expensive veterinary charges. I still have my pets vaccinated for the rabies vaccines every year through my veterinarian!

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVISE

1.) For all the folks complaining about a dull needle. I agree the needle included should be sharp. Needle included in package I would use to mix the two vials together but purchase extra needles (cheap) to draw up and inject in kitten/cat so you're guaranteed a sharp needle. Shouldn't have to do especially in a multi cat household but as a precaution I would. 2.) There is a review on here that gave inaccurate information telling people to give every two weeks for six weeks.<------WRONG Even the back of the package pictured here states how the CORRECT schedule should be every 4 weeks ideally starting at 8 weeks but if age is unknown start your schedule from the date you gave first shot. 3.) KEEP REFRIGERATED until day of use.

Yes, I recommend this product.
