    Excellent Purchase!!!

As a Boy Scout, I spend many, many weekends camping. Over the years, I have collected a LOT of camping equipment. I have a Century propane tree that I use to power a lantern, a stove, a grill, a griddle and a heater. I prefer the Century tree to the Coleman tree for safety reasons, the connection is to the handle of the propane bottle, not the valve. The propane trees on the market today only have three connections (one on top for a lantern, and two on the sides for accessories). The propane tree has plenty of capacity to power multiple connections, just not enough physical connections to run 4-5 or more attachments. I have recently purchased several MR. HEATER® propane fittings, ¼ inch male pipe thread by 1 inch 20 female throwaway cylinder thread (SKU # 3002069, manufacturers # F273754) and several MR. HEATER® propane fittings, ¼ inch male pipe thread by 1 inch 20 male throwaway cylinder thread (SKU # 3002069, manufacturers # F273754). I purchased two ¼” brass T’s and connected one female propane fitting and two male propane fittings to each. I then connected these to the fitting on my tree and now I have five connections on my tree instead of three. Also, by using various brass connectors, you can add unlimited connections to your tree. Additionally, I purchased a piece of 12” galvanized pipe and two ¼” female to female connectors, I put a female MR. HEATER® propane fitting on one end of it and a male MR. HEATER® propane fitting on the other end of it. I painted it black to match the tree, it looks like it matches everything and allows me to raise the lantern on top of the tree and illuminate a larger area. Both of the MR. HEATER® propane fittings are excellent items. They offer maximum flexibility with the standard ¼” fittings on one end and the standard throwaway cylinder threads on the other. The standard hoses with throwaway cylinder threads connect everything with ease. I highly recommend these propane fittings, they are easy to use, allow maximum flexibility and are very reliable.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
