For your next excursion, the Big Buddy will keep you comfortable with up to 18,000 BTU of heat. Swivel regulators make for easy setup; just screw on two 1-lb propane cylinders or connect to a 20-lb tank using Buddy accessories. The 450 square feet of coverage makes any ice shanty a sauna and any deck a sunroom. With the heaters' registered Life Safety System you won't sweat too much knowing the oxygen depletion sensor, thermal shut-down system, and tip-over switch are keeping you safe. For all of your indoor and outdoor adventures, the Big Buddy is there for you.

  • Two swivel regulators give you the ability to adapt usage from disposable cylinders to a remote gas supply with the purchase of a single hose and filter
  • To light the liquid propane heater, simply push and rotate the knob and the built-in Piezo sparking mechanism will take care of the rest
  • With the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) and accidental tip-over safety shut-off, you can be sure that you will enjoy years of comfortable safe heat
  • Portable heater is not for sale in Massachusetts or Canada

If you live in the country you know extended power outages can be a way of life. Living in a cheap mobile home without the best installation requires something to keep me from becoming a redneck popsicle and this is it. Can take the small disposable propane tanks or the large tank with the optional (not included) hose. Don't forget to purchase the batteries for the fan. Read the instructions completely to prevent making the common mistakes.

I purchased this heater, fuel filter and 12’ hose adapter for large propane tank Dec. 2016. It worked as advertised through Jan 2017 after burning 2 five gallon tanks of propane. Starting in Feb. it would quit working while set on low and became difficult to light. Now it will not work at all. I’ve followed the manual troubleshooting procedures, tried the small bottle of fuel bypassing the filter, hose and large tank. Still inoperative!!!!
