I bought this new Flex heater and the Flex cooker and I love it! They just arrived today and I put it all together and tested it out with the 1 Lb tank and had ordered the F273704 hose and tested it with the 20 Lb tank. They both work perfectly. I heated a couple of cups of water in less than 2 minutes on the cooker. I am thrilled to have this set as it was taking me countless hours researching which heater and which stove to buy. It's beautiful esthetically also. The battery compartments have itty-bitty screws and the locking piece for the heater compartment broke when I was trying to figure out how to open it; that is the only design flaw that I found as everything else is as wonderful, and even better now, as you would expect from any Mr. Heater, Buddy appliance or system. There is a little storage like cabinet on it and that would be a great place to put a tiny, magnetic screwdriver, I guess. I attached the heater to the cooker and it's not too heavy but it is not light either! I would buy nothing else, given a choice of the heaters and stove's out there, but this set for my little camping, hunting rig and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I have had this awhile and it has never worked. The pilot light will light easy and you think your winning. When you try to turn the knob to low the pilot goes out. I called Mr..Heater and they said it was likely the hose. No problems like this with the other dozen or so Buddy Heaters I have owned. If it does light after 30 minutes or so of jacking with it the fumes are unbearable. I bought because I was using in a deer stand and didn't want the loud clicking sound. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.
