- A: We use horticultural grade Perlite in our Miracle-Gro Perlite. It is considered coarse however there is a wide range of granule sizes classified as coarse and ours is a smaller coarse compared to some others.a year agoHelpful?

Great for making your own soil mix

This perlite was EXACTLY what I needed. I was able to mix it in with my other potting soil mediums to ensure drainage and fertilization! I also am excited to try and use it for propagating plants - it shows how on the back of the package!

A must have for your plants and garden. It mixes in well with soil. I use it in my indoor and outdoor plants. It really does seem to make a difference. Would recommend!
