The Marathon Motors 6 HP Electric Air Compressor Motor is made to get the job done right. This air compressor motor can be used for commercial and residential air compressors, fans, dairy and poultry equipment and table saws. The capacitor start/capacitor run design of the air compressor motor reduces the amperage needed. The electric air compressor motor has manual reset thermal protection and a rigid base. Made in the USA, this compressor motor features carbon steel construction for durability and strength.

Q: The wires are all white only three are marked with colored collars red blue and black there’s no kind of marking on the other 3 white wires except the voltage no t-1 or p-1 on any of the wires wut wire needs to go where

Q: what size braker in the electric box do you use
9 years ago- A: The GEX36531 6 hp motor has full load amps of 23 Amps. A lot has to do with how far from panel is the wire being run to the outlet. 12 gauge wire is good for 20 amps. This motor pulls 23 amps, so best bet is to use 10 gauge wire with a 2 pole 30 amp breaker. 10 gauge wire with a 2 pole 30 amp breaker will give you plenty of room for inrush current on start up.9 years agoHelpful?
