  • When putting the mask on your horse, approach from the left side; directly approaching your horse with the mask could startle them
  • Open the double-locking fastener and place the ears through the mask with the forelock over the trim and mesh; secure the double-locking fastener under the jaw
  • Once the mask has been fastened with the right amount of snugness, check each side of the horse's face by allowing your fingers to slip comfortably between the mask and your horse; the mask fabric should not be too close to your horse's eyes; ensure that the eyelashes do not poke through the material

Quality mask but runs small!

I like the unique design over the ears, it's made well and I like the double velcro closure, but I can barely get the single velcro piece far enough into the other side to stay securely on and not be too tight. Both my horses are around 1200 lbs (Tb and Tb/warmblood X) with normal head sizes. If these had a way to extend the strap closures or had longer straps to begin with, it would get 5 stars. I also like the reflector panel on the nose.

Fly mask runs small

I bought the Pro-Force fly mask for my NSH. He has the shorter Arab head but the broader Saddlebred forehead and jaw. He always wears a horse size fly mask. I can barely velcro the mask around his jaw. Horse size is really small Arab size. There is no elastic on the jaw strap, but there was a weird white loop that I cut off so he wouldn't catch in on something.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great mask for pasture horses

Bought these for horses that come out for summer pasture. Stay on. Horses are comfortable. Not for larger horses but great for small and average sizes
