The Hobart Black Helmet Pillar Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet features a fixed shade 10 lens with 6.2 square inch viewing area. The welding helmet's welding lens has two arc sensors and comes with Hobart's standard 2-year lens warranty. Ratchet-style headgear on the welding helmet has both size and top adjustments and comes with comfort cushion and sweatband. The Pillar auto-darkening welding helmet is ideal for the home/hobbyist welder.

Do not buy this welding hood

DO NOT BUY THIS HOOD IF YOU VALUE YOUR EYESIGHT.
It is not 10 shade. It’s 6, at best.
I used this hood once for my job and it is working.
There’s not a chance it’s dark enough for welding.
It left me seeing spots for about an hour after I was done with
only one 10 minute welding session.
I will be returning this hood and buying one with shade control.
No, I do not recommend this product.
