Applied according to the instructions and turned the moss black where I applied enough and other areas turned yellow and need more attention. Is this safe around shrubs and plants?

I bought this moss out. Have over a acre I put it over on my grass. Did it 2 weeks ago. My moss is turning yellow, why would it turn yellow. I live in the mtns, I get sun and shade, and my right now my grass is damp, not dry Also will it kill my plants ¿??

I have a small front lawn. Maybe 6000 sq'. Over the years I have applied triple the recommended amount of Moss out. I started using the liquid. When that didn't work, I switched to the granular. I've tested the soil and it's not that acidic. I've applied 10 40lb bags of lime pellets over the winter to try and neutralize the soil if that would help. I've also added lime during the growing season I've thatched ithe lawn after applications and got lots of dead stuff but it doesn't kill the moss dead and it just keeps growing. The area has some trees that partially shade the lawn during just part of the day. The moss grows even where it is all sun. The soil is not overly wet or compacted. It's winter now and the grass is all dormant but the moss is happy green as can be and still growing like happy moss. I've continually applied Moss out and put in more time than any normal home owner would ever. I'd love some real advice.
