- A: No this is not made of wood. All Lifetime sheds including this15 ft. x 8 ft. Outdoor Storage Shed, are made of a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. It is UV-Resistant - retains strength and maintains color, low maintenance - no staining or painting required. It will not crack, chip, rust or peel and it is stain resistant and easy to clean. - A: Item 4 stone would be similar to using gravel as a foundation which has a tendency to shift and settle unevenly so we do not recommend using them as your foundation as this could cause problems later. It is important that your foundation is flat and level. - A: This shed is packaged in three boxes. Box one is 95.31” x 32” x 14” and weighs 326 pounds. Box two is 95.31” x 32” x 10.625” and weighs 186 pounds. Box three is 95.31” x 32” x 8.875” and weighs 152 pounds. They will be delivered on a pallet which weighs about 60 pounds.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: Totally confused... statements stating the 15'X8' 6446 shed has side entrance (as layout plan with lawn tractor, rototiller...) and ALL the pictures show a front entrance, including a statement of how accessible not to crawl over... WHICH?? Flooring incl?

- A: The entrance on this model (6446) is a double door entrance on the 15 foot side. Yes, the shed does come with a floor, however, you must provide a platform on which to assemble the shed. We recommend concrete or a wood platform.4 years agoHelpful?

Great shed, instructions and parts labels could be much better

Instructions were a pain. Also the boxes are delivered with box 3 on top which is good to access the installation instructions but the floor is in box 1 where we started. Screws and parts were in packages that didn’t match the instructions. Had to play hunt and seek for everything. The truss information in the instructions were wrong as only two trusses had the notch for the door but no reference for the other 2 matching trusses we had so ended up instead of removing the whole roof and taking an additional 4 hours we had to adjust the trusses for the door manually to accommodate the door swing - why all trusses aren’t the same is beyond me or the instructions were better. Great looking shed. Fits perfectly where we wanted it and love the extra room.

I purchased this shed in late Fall of 2025 but was not able to assemble until Spring of 2026. The shed went together easily with two people. The hardest part was snapping the corner panels into the floor. We manage with one person pulling down on the panel while another pried up the floor to snap it into place.
This shed provides plenty of room for me to clean out the garage and have items readily available instead of piled up. The shed seems to be sealed up nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing the results in the snowy winter!
