Could be so much better...

This is a great shed for someone who wants a quick storage solution, but it really could have been so much better. I have a smaller garden tool shed (4X6) by another company that was so well constructed and easy to put together. This one is 12.5X8, which is perfect for my town's 100sq.ft. limit before a permit is needed. The process is simple enough in hindsight, but from Step 1, it was a true grind for me. Maybe I just didn't get it. It came in 2 marked boxes, 1&2. If I was doing this as a business, I'd package it so we start with Box1, and put together the parts as they come out of the box, progressing to the bottom of Box2 for the finish... Instead, the flooring, (1st step, 5 panels) came with 2 panels on top, 2 on bottom, and one on the bottom of Box2. Add to that, I'm looking for screws labeled in the instructions ADZ, and among the myriad packages, none are labeled ADZ. Same with other parts. After a phone call that didn't work, a bot chat got me to where I figured out they label a large bag, say, AFG, and then the smaller unmarked bags inside will contain parts for that step, plus parts for later steps...there will be a parts list for that step, and it's up to you to match the screws/fasteners to the diagram for exact sizing for that step...exhausting... I decided to watch videos for this, and the only one they had that was close, was for a 15X8, which was "similar", but different, and I at least got the jist of most of it. I also think the fasteners could be so much better... too many screws strip out so easily. A nut and bolt system would be so much better. I think the framing system could be better, also. I saw a video of a guy reinforcing the walls with a 2X4 shelf system, and I will do that on 3 sides to strengthen this further. It's OKAY, but their included shelf system is already stripped on the end fasteners, and basically useless because of that. Again, a solid anchor of a nut and bolt would have simply solved that and preserved the integrity of that purpose. Bottom line is I think it's what I purchased, however, I expected a bit better quality. But now I will see how it holds up.

Shed 60223 Difficulty to Build

I read a lot of reviews, before I made my purchase, that mentioned about how difficult the shed was to build. I am pretty good with tools but far from being a pro. I found the shed to be very easy to build and the instruction manual very clear. Once my foundation was complete, it probably took me about 10 hours with little to no help from my wife. WDL
