I have several safes, (Cannon, Pony Express and Winchester), this safe is simply the best one.

I have always had a positive experience shopping at many Tractor Supply locations across three states in the southeast. Unfortunately, there's always one bad apple in a bunch, and I mean really bad! As this survey specifically asked to tell about my Liberty Safe Revere 42, I will say that I am pleased with most details of this safe. I like the color, finish and detail inside. The one thing that I don't like is that the upper shelves and main support are fixed permanently and cannot be removed to increase storage space like my prior Canon model. Other than that, it is a decent low-end model to keep my grandchild safe from its contents. Now as to the Tractor Supply store in St. Cloud FL where I purchased it from, I have never had two different employees flat out lie to my face at any business before. When I was in-store to purchase it, they had the floor model on display. I inquired with "Chris" about if they had another one available still new in the box and was told, yes, they had another one in back. I then made my point that I did NOT want a used or floor model, as you usually end up not receiving everything that a new one comes with, such as shelf pins, documentation, bolts and anything else that usually gets lost when one is put on display. Plus, the simple fact that I want a new safe for the new price instead of a floor model at the same rate. Chris stated he understood that. I told him I would pay for it and to please make sure they marked the "new" one as sold for me. He assured me he would do so. I then paid for the safe and for delivery to my home. Next day, received call from the delivery guy stating that he found that the handle was broken off the new one, but he had another one there. I stated, that must have been one heck of a blow to break off the handle completely. He replied, it must have happened in shipping to their store earlier. As to his statement on having another one there, I asked if he was talking about the floor model and he stated no, there was another one he found in back of the store. I was suspicious, since Chris had told me they only had the two in the store, which included the floor model, but I said okay. Upon arrival, I inspected the safe on his trailer and realized it WAS the floor model I had viewed the day before. The delivery guy lied, insisting it wasn't the floor model, but the scratches all across the bottom of it, along the edges and with no shipping pallet attached as new ones are, I could tell he was being dishonest. I refused that safe and told him to get me another one from another store. He was a bit agitated but agreed and left. I immediately jumped into my car and hightailed it to the St. Cloud store where I saw his truck pulled up behind the store. I went into the store, and yes, the floor model was gone from its location, confirming my suspicion. At that point, I asked for the store manager but was told they were not in the store. I ended up speaking with the assistant mgr., Aurora. I described everything that had occurred and was told I would get a call back as soon as she investigated it and spoke to the manager. I received a call-back a few hours later, apologizing and that the delivery guy would be retrieving another safe from another location and it would probably be delivered in the next day or two after finding one. when it finally showed up, it was actually a different model then my purchased one. The one I paid for initially was the Revere 42 that had the single arm handle. The one they brought was the model with the spoke handle, which was actually priced a little higher. The handle didn't make that much difference to me, but at least it was a tiny consolation for all the deceit and trouble I faced. Bottom line, for a business to have its employees lie and be deceitful to a customer's face on such an expensive purchase, and then try to cover it up when called out on it, is just completely unacceptable and doesn't deserve anyone's business.

As the title says it is a good quality safe. You can divide the number of long guns it holds in half just like any other safe.
