KBS Coatings Cavity Wand, 36 in. with 360 deg. Tip

The KBS Cavity Wand is a 36 inch spray applicator that attaches directly to the KBS Cavity Coater Aerosol can and carries the coating deep inside frame rails, rocker panels, door skins, and other enclosed cavities on trucks, trailers, and equipment. The tip sprays 360 degrees around the wand and also out of the front, so one pass coats the cavity walls in every direction. It is stiff enough to push easily into a cavity and flexible enough to follow its shape, and it threads through an existing or freshly drilled 1/4 inch hole, so there is no need to cut larger openings. Insert the wand, then spray only as you pull it out, about 2 inches per second. After the job, flush it by turning the can upside down and spraying for 10 seconds, and it is ready for the next job.If the cavity has no drain hole, drill a 1/4 inch hole at the lowest accessible point; it drains water and serves as the wand access hole. Shake the Cavity Coater Aerosol well and push the wand onto the valve. Insert the wand fully, then spray while withdrawing it at about 2 inches per second, one direction only. Repeat in other access holes as needed. Wipe any overspray off rubber and plastic with mineral spirits. When finished, flush the wand by turning the can upside down and spraying for 10 seconds.
