The Happy Jack Liqui-Vict 2X Liquid Dog Dewormer is another convenient wormer from Happy Jack for the removal of roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala). Simply measure the appropriate amount of Liqui-Vict 2X with the enclosed measuring spoon and mix with food. That's it. We recommend it as part of your monthly preventative health care plan to eliminate internal parasites. Each 2 oz. bottle worms 120 lb. of body weight. Iuse to use the powder de-wormer but my dogs hated it, so I wanted to give the liquid a try. This stuff works wonders, not only did they lick the bowl clean, I saw results with in 30 min. The powder took about three days to see results and it seemed that the worms were still alive when they came out. After they took this liquid de-wormer the worms came out in bunches and were all dead, just after one use. I will always use this de-wormer.!

Bought this product for our puppy, have it to him as recommended in the dosage it said. We have given him 4 doses and he still has worms. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but I officially will be going through the vet for help now. I do not recommend this product and will not purchase again.

Mixed with dog food and dogs ate it with no problem. Took rescued puppy to vet and they used the same product so I bought this and started the treatment at home. Will go back to the vet for a follow up to test how it did. So far no side affects. Trusted brand!

Not Effective Against Hookworms

I have used Happy Jack dewormer in the past and thought it was a decent product but with a recent litter of Golden Retriever puppies, our experience could not have been worse.
We dewormed all 10 puppies according to the Happy Jack label and, for the 1st 6 weeks, he had no issues. All 10 puppies grew and seemed to be in great health.
At 6 weeks, we went to have a wellness check and they all checked out and had clean bills of health.
At 6 weeks old, we had to start a new bottle of happy Jack dewormer. They got that bottle at 6 and 8 weeks and I think it was defective because several families reported having to rush their pup to the vet to be treated for severe anemia and hookworms.
To be fair, 2 of the families did pick up their pup at 7 weeks and did not deworm at 8 weeks as recommended.
5 of the pups had been dewormed at 8 weeks and still tested positive for hookworms.
The other 3 families did not report any health issues at all. Their pups were playful and healthy.
For a little more info, we started weening at 3 weeks, by 6 weeks they were totally done with Mom.
They seemed to absolutely hate the taste of the medicine. Often squirming and shaking their heads after drinking. Never any vomiting though.
This was a very sad ordeal costing several families thousands of dollars for emergency vet care. I'm hoping this review will help others make informed decisions when purchasing dewormer.

Gave to my 4 week old puppies of large breed and gave them half of the little cup given each. 3 out of our 6 dogs died. The other 2 didnt want to eat or drink water they kept vomiting nothing like this white goo. After this i do not trust so called “dewormers specifically for dogs. Instead use yakult a human probiotic yogurt and can safely get the worms out.

They claim that it is highly palatable. I would like to know according to who. Definitely not my dog. My dog will eat almost anything but won't go near this " highly palatable " formulation. I tried it straight, on food, hidden is his favorite treat and nothing but a mess. They talk about customer satisfaction guarantee but no information is available on how exactly that works .

My "pup"ers had worms really bad and I didn't know it cause who keeps an eye out on their dogs poop 💩 but I gave her the Happy Jack cause she didn't seem like herself and didn't want to eat so I tried different things to try getting her back to herself before I took her to Vet. Gave her this and she was back eating. Plus it smells good also.
