Nobivac Puppy-DPv Vaccine helps protect dogs against parvovirus and canine distemper, both of which are highly contagious, serious diseases. The first dose is typically given to puppies around the age of 4 weeks old, and annual revaccination is recommended. As this vaccine stimulates the dog's body to produce antibodies, it will override maternal antibodies in young puppies. Each order of the vaccine includes 25 doses.How it Works
Nobivac Puppy-DPv is a vaccine containing a modified, live virus. It contains attenuated parvovirus (CPV) and canine distemper virus (CDV) strains, offering immunity against these illnesses,
Special Precautions
- Never vaccinate a pregnant dog.
- Only non-parasitized, healthy dogs and puppies should receive vaccinations.
- Amphotericin B and gentamicin are included as preservatives.
- After use, any unused contents should be burned, along with the vaccine container.
- New, non-chemically sterilized syringes and needles should be used.
- Once reconstituted, contents should be used promptly.
Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.
Side Effects
Biological products like Nobivac Puppy-DPv can lead to inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivities, including anaphylaxis or other reactions. An antidote of antihistamines, corticosteroids, and/or epinephrine may be necessary, dependent upon the severity and nature of the reaction.
Storage
Don't freeze. Store between 35°-45°F ( 2° - 7°C).

Canine Distemper-parvovirus Modified Live Virus
Not for oral administration. Aseptically reconstitute the desiccated vaccine with the sterile diluent provided and administer 1mL by the subcutaneous route or intramuscular route. Initial vaccination of healthy puppies may be given as early as 4 weeks of age, with booster injections administered every 3-4 weeks until the dog is 12 weeks of age. Dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive 2 doses 3-4 weeks apart. Annual revaccination with one dose is recommended. Following the advice of the American Veterinary Medical Association on Vaccination Principles, an appropriate revaccination program for individual animals should be made based upon veterinarian-client-patient relationships.
