The amount and type of seed in a roll depends on the variety you choose , we make sure each roll contains the right mix for optimal coverage and growth. A: Took six weeks to completely cover area, then within 4 months thick each blade touching another with 3 inches in height. 

A: I don’t know because I never received my order.

A: Thanks for reaching out! Our product already has the seed pre-mixed and embedded during manufacturing, so there’s no need to add any additional seed. At this time, we aren’t able to add custom seed varieties provided by customers. If you’re looking for a different seed mix, we’d be happy to help recommend one of our existing blends that might fit your needs!

A: great question! Growtrax is pet friendly, we only use seed, fertilizer and mulch in our product.

A: NoI don’t. I actually purchased this as a gift for my daughter. It works well.

A: Best not to use over old grass, it’s not really intended for overseeding. Clear out the old grass and turn the soil, it works best on bare, turned soil.

A: I would not. But honestly before you put it down at all if your yard has any part that gets full sun it will not do well. I did not have a great experience.

A: In about 1 week, I had 3" grass. It rained a lot in mid-spring and that may have had something to do with it, but I was surprised because the soil here is very bad and I did not do much prep work.

A: Once wet it stays in place. Key is to keep it wet and you’ll be good.
