- A: For the full sun areas, Bermudagrass would be the best choice. For the shaded areas, tall fescue would be an option if you are able to keep the area irrigated regularly. St. Augustine in the shade would also work but is only available in sod, sprigs, or plugs.a year agoHelpful?

No way these good reviews are real. Three weeks watered twice a day on tilled soil. Not sure I can find one blade. No way I can say anything above terrible for this seed. Side note I have found some no native weeds. So something grew at least.

Works in heavy shade. Grew under trampoline too.

I'm so impressed so far! We went from total dirt to this is about a month. We still need to fill in some areas, needs to be laid thicker than a fertilizer spreader would lay it. Our yard is 90% shade at least. This stuff even grew under the shaded trampoline.
