We've taken our already great G9744Z Metal-Cutting Bandsaw and added a few extra features to offer you a truly outstanding Bandsaw. We've added a 1-piece saw bow, deluxe blade tension hand wheel, deluxe True-lock vise system and easy access pulley cover for fast speed changes. You still get optimum control and accuracy with sliding ball bearing blade guides, work stop and hydraulic down feed. Round it out with a 1-1/2 Gal. coolant system and chip tray and you've got a real metal-cutting workhorse.

    Happy with my new Grizzly

    My last Horizontal Bandsaws were a WELL"S Saw from the 40's and a Wellsaw from the 60's(?). Still have them want to get them restored. This Grizzly is great did a beautiful job. Nice features. There could have been more thought put into how keep the coolant return hose secure. Everytime you move the saw the return hose pops out and blows coolant all over the floor, I was cutting stringers from a 5x7x3/8x24' in limited space, Everytime you changed an angle require moving the saw and re-leveling. That's my only complaint- the coolant return hose pops out. I'm going to change to some sort of flex hose

    Great Product after i repaired it

    The day i hooked it up i bought coolant poured it in and it went all over the floor. The return hose was not hook to the tank and barely hooked to the spout. I put a hose clamp on it and a conduit strap on the hose where it returns to the tank, also added a pvc 90 degree fitting. The Motor mount bolts were loose also. But after the repairs it works great.

    This is a well built machine . The design is simple and robust, the old kiss Method. Im sure it will be working 20 years fro now.
