I was really hesitant to grab this after seeing the low reviews, but a nice sale price convinced me to go for it. The low reviews are completely insane. This unit was incredibly easy to assemble (legitimately took 10 minutes), installed and fit perfectly, and functions even better than I could have imagined. I have almost 3/4 if an acre, so I did have to empty a few times. Doing so is quick and easy with the grab handle on the bottom of the bag. I couldn't get it to clog at all. I mean it just ate the clippings up the entire time I was cutting. My only minor complaint is that I do wish it had a bit more capacity. But my yard was also pretty long because of the weather recently. This is a must have for your Cub Cadet (or any of the other brands it fits).

Not sure why people review this so low, this bagger works great! Even under major neglect while mowing and letting it clog, this bagger setup is the fastest and easiest time I ever had with a clog. Everyone giving this one or two stars either does not know how to assemble this, or are using the wrong blades that do not provide enough lift. Mounted on a craftsman T240, buy with confidence!

Cheaply made, bad design

Poor quality, cheaply made, poor fit. At $450 is 20% of the cost of my new lawn tractor. For that I would expect something more substantial. Flimsy plastic and thin fabric bags. Awful for the price. Might last 3 years before I have to duct tape it together. Junk compared to the bagger on my 17 year old Craftsman (RIP). The hinge pin for the lid won't stay in place. The flexible plastic tube keeps popping off while mowing. You can't stand up the flimsy fabric bag with clippings. The bagger takes up a lot of space on the right side of the mower. You can't drive close to anything on that side. My Craftsman was more compact and rugged. Lasted 17 years with no fixes or repairs. I like the Cub Cadet mower. The bagger option alone is a good reason to reconsider.
