The price is a little intimidating, and is a little steep for what you are buying. However the quality of the molded and steel components is excellent. Where hardware goes through molded components without washers, they only needed to be tightened until seated against the plastic, the self locking nuts will not loosen, over torquing to the point of deforming the plastic is not required. This is not mentioned in the instructions. This bagger should outlast the mower itself. If you want to save yourself $50 and don't mind the bags not having the Cub Cadet Logo, check out the MTD bagger for 42/46 mowers. I believe them to be the same.

The bagger does work as advertised, bout for the price, I expected a bit more quality. The support bracketry in the rear of the tractor is built like a tank. However, the plastic chute is very poorly designed. The assembly involves putting bolts through molded holes in the plastic without washers. As you tighten down, the heads of the bolts or nuts start to dig into the plastic almost to the point of pulling through. The other complaint is the foam tape where the chute meets the cover. I have to remove the chute from time to time to fear out wet clogged grass and the foam is already torn from doing this after only 2 mows! I would like to see rubber instead of foam for more durability.
