This triple bag grass collection system mounts quickly and easily to your 50 in. or 54 in. Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor. The large 10-bushel bag capacity offers extended mowing times before the bags need to be emptied. The vented bags provide superior strength and airflow to reduce grass from clogging in the oversized 8 in. diameter chute. The bagger was easy to assemble. Fine quality components and engineering. It really holds a lot of stuff so needs to be emptied fewer times. The best feature for me is the large diameter feed tube. It never clogs like others.

Very cheeply made, save you're money

I bought the XT3 series mower about a month ago and one of the attachments I bought with it was the bagging unit, and it was installed before it was delivered. I have had problems with it from day one, and I have never used it. The mounting bracket will not fit into the frame, the had to bend the tow lip down just so it will fit in the tractor. I still have to use a bar to remove it from the tractor. Putting the bagger unit on the tractor is very awkward, I have pinched my hand twice and ended up stumbling backwards, trying to pull the frame out of the tractor. The top of the bagger unit has a 1/4" pin that will come out of the hole every time it opens, so the cover falls off every time, see picture. The bags are made out of plastic, and the chute support is made out of very thin plastic. If I had seen this on a mower before I purchased it, I would not have bought it. I have contacted Cub Cadet to see if the will accept returns of unused attachments, so far no luck. If you do want a bagger unit, I suggest getting the deck attachment and a tow behind unit.

Poor design

Design is very poor. Rod to hold the lid is to short or tab is in the wrong location. Rod moves and comes out of bracket. Tube that goes from the shoot into the bagger is very poor design. Extremely hard to thread in, like directed and it falls out. Had to screw fast the bracket that is mounted on bagger.

Was quite impressed with this unit, had a trac vac years ago with its own motor on it, so wasn’t sure how well just deck discharge was going to work, but much to my pleasant surprise, this thing really gets the job done. So far, I love it, and if I don’t let the lawn go for too long, I can get almost an acre of clippings in this thing before I have to empty it .
Yes, I recommend this product.

Grass escapes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was easily put together. Some grass comes out right where the hood closes at the tube. Hood does not stay latched at the metal prong that is between the second and third bag.

I liked it when I first got it but everything is either broken or has a hole in it. I only use it in the fall so it doesn't get much use. For the price I figure it would last longer
