Q: Is the pump waterproof? Can I store this outside without a cover?

- A: While the High-Flo 12V pump is designed to handle moisture and outdoor use during operation, it is not entirely waterproof and cannot be submerged.We strongly recommend against storing the sprayer outside without a cover for several reasons: UV and Weather Degradation: Constant exposure to sun, rain, and changing temperatures will prematurely degrade the pump's electrical components, pressure switch, and wire leads, as well as the sprayer’s poly tank and hoses. Moisture Buildup: Keeping the pump exposed to elements can lead to moisture entering the motor housing or corroding the electrical connections, which can cause the pump to fail. Warranty Considerations: Please note that the sprayer comes with a warranty for standard consumer use (90 days for commercial use), but damage caused by improper storage or severe weather exposure is generally not covered. Best Practice: For the longest lifespan and best performance, store your sprayer in a shed, garage, when not in use, and always winterize the pump before freezing temperatures hit.3 months agoHelpful?

- A: Hi, you cannot directly slow down the motor speed of the 12V pump, but you can reduce the flow rate to the boom by using the bypass valve to recirculate liquid back into the tank. By opening this valve while spraying, you divert some of the 2.4 GPM flow away from the nozzles, which lowers the pressure and extends your total spray time.5 months agoHelpful?
Q: How long is the power cord? Can the spray bar be raised and lowered? What assembly is required?

- A: The lead wire is 96" in length. The boom is at a set height. There are about 7 steps to complete assembly of the sprayer, trailer frame, wheels, boom attachment and a couple of small items that need to be attached to the sprayer.a year agoHelpful?

Great little sprayer!

Great little sprayer! Not a huge fan of the alligator clips that connect to the battery but I’ll change them out for some ring terminals. Super easy to setup and start spraying!

Purchased a 15 gallon sprayer from tractor supply and the drain plug was cross threaded when I got it from the package and it leaked until I put Teflon tape on. Returned it and purchased a better 25 gallon tank and when I unpackage it the drain plug was severely cross threaded which caused it to leak. Call customer service and I'm waiting on a replacement drain plug cap. Can't say much more when you can't use them cuz the water leaks due to the Cross threaded plastic drain plugs.

We are sincerely sorry for the frustration and hassle you’ve experienced with receiving two units in a row with cross-threaded drain plugs. That is certainly not the quality standard we set for our sprayers, and we completely understand how frustrating it is to have your project delayed. Since replacement caps are mailed out directly, your new drain plug should be on its way to you shortly. When it arrives, we recommend inspecting the male threads and the flat sealing face on the tank's drain outlet itself before installing the new cap. If the initial cross-threading damaged the tank threads or left any raised plastic ridges on the outlet rim, the cap's internal gasket won't sit flush. Lightly sanding that plastic face smooth with fine-grit sandpaper will clear up any high spots and ensure a watertight seal. We want to make sure your 25-gallon sprayer is working perfectly. If the replacement cap doesn't fully solve the leak once it arrives, please call our manufacturer support team directly at 800-831-0027 so we can take care of whatever additional parts or solutions you need right away.

Flimsy but gets the job done

The tank and pump do the job and the towing elements are adequate. Where this unit falls down is on the sprayer boom. The thin sheet metal on the boom attachment bracket isn’t heavy enough to hold fast the boom arms and one of the springs designed to keep the boom arms flexible broke the first time the arm encountered an obstacle. It’s also a little annoying that you have to pass the wand hose under the pump hose to get it to wrap around the tank where it’s supposed to be stored. That definitely could have been designed better. If you want a low-ish cost powered sprayer to do small areas (probably 1-2 acres), this will do the job adequately, but it will not be the most durable equipment in your shed.
