FerAppease Bovine is a synthetic analogue of the Maternal Bovine Appeasing Substance (mBAS). mBAS is naturally secreted by the sebaceous gland located on the skin of the mammary gland with the unique function of inducing an appeasing effect.Adjustable Dose Pour-On Gun is sold separately.
- FerAppease can and should be used every time animals are exposed to management and physiological stressors, where suppression of threat perception is desirable including at weaning, dehorning, castration, branding, transportation, commingling, vaccination, parturition, interruption of lactation (dry off), and breeding.
- FerAppease should only be used on healthy cattle, applied topically above the muzzle and in the divot behind the poll.
- Multidose vial of 1,000 mL of FerAppease mBAS. Each bottle will treat 100 adult animals, and 200 calves less than 200 pounds.
