Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sheep Nutri-Drench for anemic or ailing sheep When I have had sick sheep that were anemic (pale due to lacking in red blood cells) due to parasites or other illness, using Nutri-Drench according to the bottle directions helped keep them alive while the underlying causes such as footrot, parasites, or dog attack injuries were being treated. The propylene glycol in it is a fast energy source, & the vitamins & iron help the animal produce more red blood cells. I also make sure to provide a source of probiotics, which you can find at TSC as well, & a small smorgasboard of different types of hay & grain, &, if available, fresh forage clipped or picked for the ailing individual so that when it feels like starting to eat, there is something to its liking present before it.
