Worrying with sub-clinical milk fever is a real challenge. These boluses smoothed out the dips and sub-clinical signs immediately. Occasionally, it will take a second round of boluses. 2 works for most. MUST have here in the birthing kit.

Easy to give great results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being at a conference and being given a few samples to try, we decided to this was the way to go. We milk Jerseys and milk fever is very prevalent in them, giving IV's was not something that the employees enjoyed doing. The pill gun that goes along with this product is extremely easy to use. Granted it is a bit more speedy than a bottle of Cal-dex, but ease for the employee and the cow override that.

Easy to administer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 4 of these boluses for the first time to try on my 2 Jersey milk cows. I was very impressed with how easy they were to give to the cows with no mess. Although they are somewhat expensive compared to the calcium paste alternatives, I was satisfied with the ease and peace of mind that my cows would not have issues with milk fever after freshening. Happy cows = happy farmers!
