The Ergodyne Unisex Chill-Its 6667 Wet Evaporative Cooling Vest with Zipper Closure is made with a lightweight PVA material that provides immediate cooling relief to the core area. The lightweight construction is designed with breathable mesh panel siding making it more comfortable than other wet evaporative vests that can be heavy to wear. A front zipper offers an easy on/off, customized fit. For best results, we recommend this body cooling vest be worn over a t-shirt and not covered by other clothing. The PVA material is super evaporative and feels cooler than ambient air, keeping you feeling cool and comfortable for hours. All PVA materials dry stiff - to reactivate and soften, run underwater.

Not a home run

I've reviewed several great cooling products from Ergodyne and I had high hopes for this but it fell short of my initial expectations. The cooling effect didn't seem to last very long, maybe 30 minutes even on cooler days below 80 degrees. The material becomes rigid when it dries out. Not a big deal as long as you keep it soaked but if you don't have water available right away, now you've got to wear this stiff, slightly uncomfortable vest around or take it off and now you have one more price of gear to keep up with. I much prefer the cooling shirts or the Chill Its 6210 phase change cooling vest.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Been using cooling vest for a straight week at work and it definitely helps here in Arizona heat! Easy to use, lightweight, comfortable and machine washable. Overall great product

Wet, Zip, Wear!

This cooling vest showed up on the tail end of some seriously hot days! It's incredibly easy to use (wet, zip, wear!) and kept me cooler than I expected as I worked. I liked the fabric feature on the side that allowed airflow and flexibility. I love how Ergodyne always keeps function and comfort at the front of mind with all their products. I wish it had a few more inches in length but overall I'm very thankful to have this for my summers!

Put this one to work and quickly felt more comfortable in the heat of the day. It will dampen your shirt, but not badly, and much less than sweating would without it. I love it.
