Is this filter compatible with hydaulic oil?

Asked by: blessed dude
Thanks for your question, but the answer depends on the temperature and weight/viscosity of your hydraulic oil, and how you're planning to use the filter itself. Goldenrod fuel tank filters will handle up to a maximum of 500 SSU, so light hydraulic oil in warm temperatures will probably work, while heavy hydraulic oil at cold temperatures will not. Also, Goldenrod fuel tank filters are not designed to be mounted on engines or motors, they are meant for removing microscopic particles from fuel when transferring it from one location to another. If that is how you want to use the filter and you meet the criteria listed above, it will probably work. However, if you want to mount this filter on an actual pump or engine where oil is circulated and used with pressure, it will not.
