Mixing Directions: Mix 2 ounces (~4 scoops) of Dura-Start Lamb & Kid into 7 ounces of warm water (~110-120F). Feed solution at body temperature (~104F). See feeding chart. When Fed as a Replacer: Feed 7 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. Split this mixed solution into 2-3 feedings over the first 8 hours of life. When Fed as a Supplement: Feed 3.5 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. The mixed solution can be added to maternal colostrum if there is not enough quantity or if quality of the maternal colostrum is unknown as may be the case in multiple births. Lambs and kids also benefit from feeding supplemental colostrum past day one.
