Q: I just received this motor. While waiting for it to arrive, I read the specs, specifically the oil type. Specs say 10W30. So I went and purchased what the specs recommended. Motor arrives with tag tha say 30W. Are specs right or motor right.?

- A: Hi John, please see the manual for full specifications 10W30 is a multigrade oil, meaning it has a thinner viscosity at cold temperatures (10W) and a thicker viscosity at higher operating temperatures (30W). 30W, on the other hand, is a monograde oil, meaning it has a consistent viscosity regardless of temperature.a year agoHelpful?

- A: Yes, the service manual and owners manual will have a copy of the wiring diagram that would be available upon request with a troubleshooting section. The engine will output about a 1.5 Amp charge. - A: We apologize for the confusion. The throttle lever might be set to high based on the description. If you move the throttle lever the opposite way it should slow the engine down as desired.2 years ago
Q: Does this engine have the same shaft size and base footprint as the Honda GX390 13 hp engine?

- A: Yes, this model will have the same dimensions for the shaft and base plate for most versions of the GX390. Please note some versions of the GX390 have different shaft types that may vary.2 years ago
