Q: I just ordered the 15 pack of the XL animal barrier. I will be using this on a chain link fence, can I leave a portion of this above ground and can I zip tie it to the chain link

We suggest interlocking the unit with the bottom links of the chain link fence during installation to "tie" the fence to the ground, if you are unable, yes you can definitely zip tie or use metal clips to attach the unit to the fence.
