Q: My very large dog doesn’t dig, but has learned he can push right under my chain-link fence. Will using these secure the bottom of the fence enough that he could not push through and get out?

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. Yes, we suggest during installation to "interlock" the units with the bottom links of the fence. This will tie the fence with the ground, extending it's protection underground. For those spots he favors to push and escape, we would suggest looking at the XL model, the closer spikes help grab the ground more.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Would you suggest the 2" or 3" space for putting around the bottom of a 10' x 10' dog kennel being used for chickens to keep the digging predators out?

Depending on the gap between the fence and the ground, we would suggest either the Small/Med Animal Barrier with the 2" spacing or the XL Animal Barrier with 1.5" spike spacing. Be sure to check the space between fence and ground, if the space is greater than 4 inches, the XL is the model you need. If the fence is rather close to the ground the Small/Med model will work.7 years agoHelpful?

Effective Barriers That Do Their Job Well

These metal barriers work great at thwarting the peskiest of armadillos or other critters who like to burrow under our fence (then proceed to dig-up planted areas etc).
I’ve standardized on these barriers due simply to their effectiveness.

Great solution for stopping digging animals from getting into my duck and chicken pens. The top bar is a bit weak and as they are pounded into the ground, if there is a bit of resistances, it bends and will not lay flat. Many of them had to be pulled out and straightened then pounded back in because of hard ground. All in all good product.

These work great, easy installation, I only wish they were longer and more came in the box. My dogs have been trying to find a breach in security ever since I put these in and they've been thwarted every time.
