Great little heater!

I bought this unit for a new 30' by 40' garage with a 19+' ceiling, and I can get 10 degrees rise in about an hour of use at 10KW, and in my area of New England, that's about $1 an hour added to my electric bill, for heating about 1400 cubic feet! I did add 4 4" swivel castors to it's base since the holes were there anyway for easier mobility and it's wired with 40' of wire to a 50A dryer type outlet and plug so I can put it anywhere it's needed. It is relatively quiet while heating, but be aware that the internal distribution fan is not wired into the thermostat, just the on/off switch, so the fan constantly runs whether it's heating or not via the thermostat, in other words if it's ON the fan is blowing, and it doesn't come with the wire or cable for powering it. It's really an impressive heater for what I'm using it for, and I like it a lot. You're getting genuine DeWALT quality.
