Do NOT Buy - Regulator Limits PSI to 125

Do NOT buy if you want air pressure at the hose over 125psi. Unit comes with 125psi regulator and after speaking with Dewalt, that is the only regulator that is supplied. They said "if you want more psi, then you can research and replace it if you like". Not a reason why I bought a 175psi compressor.

Okay but too much back pressure

Purchased this compressor last week and am not impressed. Runs and fills the tank just fine but once it has to turn back on to fill the tank again after use, the motor will not turn the compressor. It tries to turn the belt drive and gets about 2 turns then kicks the breaker on the motor. There is entirely too much back pressure on the pump for the 2hp motor to get the compressor moving again. We have to drain the tank all the way down to 2psi in order for the motor to start the spinning the pump. Fills up again to 175psi then have to drain it back down again and the cycle continues.
No, I do not recommend this product.
