  • Double-bevel design allows saw to bevel 0 to 48 to the left and right with positive stops at 0, 22.5, 33.9 and 45

  • Cam lock miter handle with detent override delivers quick and accurate miter angles

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

I have used the DW716XPS for years and mine was getting a little old decided to buy this newer model and it’s not great the rear fences are out of square the angle arrow is a huge block the old one was way better disappointing to say the least hard to be an accurate finish carpenter when your saw is out of square and you can’t even adjust the back fence if there’s any way I can get an old DW716XPS please let me know!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

DeWALT absolutely must do better in machining flatness, coplanarity and alignment quality of the fence assembly. Having to spend extra time and money fixing the inaccuracy of a critical component on a brand new tool is unacceptable!

Light and accurate.

This is the lightest 12" miter saw I could find which is critical for me with it going in and out of the van daily. The cuts are beautifully accurate with the stock blade and will only get better with a nice blade upgrade. My only complaint with this saw is the cutline light. I greatly preferred the auto on/off that comes with the flexvolt saw. I find myself consistently forgetting to turn this light off at the end of the day when its setup in my shop and I do wonder how many hours that little LED has in it before it burns out?
