Q: How do I ensure that I get a female tree? I have two trees that I bought at Tractor Supply five years ago, and while they are growing great, it appears that both of them are males. They both get catkins, but no flowers.

Is very small

The tree is very small itshould be put in a pot 1st, it look dead but is sprouting in partial shade, this tree are to small to put in the ground rabits or other animals will damage them but if you care for them they and put them in apot it should be fine

not in good shape at all

plant was nearly dying. asked them to make sure the plants werent dead before bringing to me. well they werent dead but they are in pitiful shape
