Q: The strawberry bag of blooms says that its perennial...how do you keep all winter (upstate New York), do I need to plant in the ground? Bring inside? Thank so much. Looks like fun for the kids!

- A: Potted strawberry plants and those in hanging baskets are the easiest to overwinter. Winterizing strawberry plants in strawberry pots simply means moving them to an unheated garage. Once the crowns have browned and shriveled and the plants have entered dormancy it's time to move them.4 years agoHelpful?

Waste of money!

Purchased yesterday afternoon and this morning tried to prep them to plant and was excited until I found all 10 plants are dead. They are brown, dried with brittle roots that break off with no sign of life anywhere in any of them.
No, I do not recommend this product.
