Strawberry 'Sequoia' is an everbearing type of strawberry that produces very sweet and juicy fruits. Good for warmer climate areas, this Strawberry is quite a low maintenance plant and great for beginner gardeners! Strawberry 'Sequoia' is a dormant plant selected by DeGroot, offering you the opportunity to get a head start to the season! Due to its dormant state, this plant may lack foliage until it is planted. There is no need to wait until after frost, this may be planted as soon as the ground is workable. Once planted, apply 6 inches of mulch for root protection. This early planting prevents transplant shock and allows it more time to develop its root system. If your plant does have foliage, provide protection from frost. Depending on the climate and weather experienced after planting, this plant could take up to 4-6 weeks to break dormancy and show signs of growth. Guaranteed to Grow* Product must be purchased before June 1st. Sales receipt and UPC required. For refund, please go to: https://retail.degroot-inc.com/guarantee.

Q: Will these grow in a hanging basket?
3 months ago- A: Yes, Sequoia strawberry bare root plants are well-suited for growing in hanging baskets. Their trailing habit and vigorous runner production allow the berries and foliage to "spill" over the edges, creating a decorative and functional display.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Once planted, about how long does it take to actually get fruit?
3 years ago- A: Dear Lolly, Thank you for your question. Typically, bareroot strawberry plants will produce fruit in approximately 3 months. Q: the box contained 10 plants. Do I plant them in one hole or do I separate the plants into 10 to plant

The strawberries are typically bundled together so you will gently separate them into 10 plants and they may each be planted in an individual hole. If you have additional questions, we encourage you to contact us at (269) 468-6714 or [email protected] so we may assist you. Happy planting! Thank you, DeGroot Inc.2 years agoHelpful?
