Special Precautions

• Not for use in underweight, debilitated, or sick animals.
• Only for oral administration in sheep. Do not administer in any other way.
• Never allow water contamination by improper disposal of the container or direct application.
• Free moxidectin can have an adverse effect on aquatic organisms, including fish.
• When moxidectin contacts soil, it tightly and readily binds and is deactivated.
• No withholding time has been established, so this product should not be administered to female sheep producing milk for consumption by humans.
• Do not slaughter a sheep for food use within one week of treatment.

Side Effects

A controlled study in the United States has proven that this product is adequately safe for use in sheep (ages 4 months and up). This study resulted in no indications of toxicity, even when sheep were administered 5 times recommended doses. No studies of reproductive safety in breeding rams and ewes have been conducted in the United States.
